Hollow Knight: Silksong's Absence from Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live
Geoff Keighley, producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL) 2024, confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong will not be featured at the event. This announcement brought disappointment to many fans.
Initial excitement surged when Keighley's initial ONL lineup included a "+ More" section, fueling speculation about unannounced titles, including a potential Silksong update. This hope was short-lived, however, as Keighley later explicitly stated on X that Silksong would not be present. He reassured fans that Team Cherry remains dedicated to the game's development.
