Each nation features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire presents a significant challenge. This formidable dual-sword-wielding dragon embodies the original Natlan ruler, its appearance amplified by the Abyss's influence. Similar to Inazuma's Riftwolves, it inflicts a Corrosion effect, demanding strategic combat. While difficult, victory is achievable. This guide details how to defeat the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.
The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire resides in the Stone Stele Records domain, south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Located within a shrine commemorating Natlan's fallen, this domain offers standard rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly bosses.
Completing the Archon Quest's final chapter, "When All Becomes A Monument," unlocks this boss. Alternatively, players can access it via the Quick Challenge in the Adventurer's Handbook.
Success heavily relies on Natlan characters like Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. While often stationary, the boss summons three pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora, easier to defeat with Nightsoul Blessings.
While other characters can destroy the pillars, Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina significantly reduce the time needed, preventing the devastating Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars immobilizes the dragon for about 10 seconds, allowing for concentrated damage. However, even with speed, the pillars might not break quickly enough. When the meteor animation begins, equip a shield and switch to a healer. Consistent healing is crucial to survive the corrosion effect, even with a shield; unshielded, it can be a one-hit kill. Healers like Furina and Kokomi excel, but Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett are viable alternatives.
Dodging is challenging due to unpredictable attacks. The dragon transforms into smoke, making tracking difficult. Attacks include sword slashes and smashes, reducing the battlefield. Staying close and attacking from underneath is an option, but requires consistent healing against the Eroded Dragon Breath's Pyro and Erosion damage. Staying near its hands avoids the full brunt of the Dragon Breath. Remember to heal immediately after sword slashes. A strong healer is essential.
Co-op mode offers assistance, especially during the pillar phase. Click "Match" in the domain to team up with others for easier victory. This fight lacks multiple phases but requires significant time and strategic play.
