Hyde Run: Global Launch of High-Speed Endless Runner Game!

If you’re a fan of Japanese music, you're likely familiar with the legendary HYDE, who has graced stages like Madison Square Garden and sold over 40 million records worldwide. Now, this iconic artist steps into the digital realm as the star of a thrilling new endless runner game, Hyde Run, which has just launched globally today.

Initially released in Japan, Hyde Run now invites players from around the world to immerse themselves in a game that celebrates HYDE’s illustrious music career, packed with nods to his journey. Developed and published by Phoenixx, this game offers a unique way for global fans to engage with HYDE’s music.

Move, Jump, or Slide in Hyde Run

In Hyde Run, you take on the role of HYDE, dashing through a dynamic concert stage intertwined with a futuristic Tokyo landscape. Navigate Neo Tokyo at breakneck speed, dodging obstacles, performing wall-runs past vibrant billboards, and collecting musical notes along the way. The game's atmosphere is infused with neon lights and the electrifying energy of a guitar solo, setting it apart from typical endless runners with its unique blend of music and fan-centric details.

As you race through the city, you can grab various power-ups such as magnets to attract more notes or barriers to shield you from harm. Before embarking on each run, you have the option to activate items like Note Gain to increase your note collection or a Barrier to avoid tripping over obstacles.

Additionally, you can collect crystals to unlock exclusive HYDE-themed outfits and room items, reflecting his long and storied career. Unlocking the Microphone Stand grants access to voice clips from HYDE himself, adding a personal touch to your gameplay experience.

Hyde Run also allows you to customize HYDE’s in-game room, featuring memorabilia spanning 20 years of his career. From vintage tour gear to subtle nods to his past, the room holds hidden items that unlock special messages and voice notes from HYDE.

Currently, limited-time content is available until June 10th, 2025. The THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set lets you dress HYDE in the iconic look from his music video, complete with matching ROCK Furniture like leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights. For a more relaxed summer vibe, there's the Bat Jinbei Costume Set, and for a traditional Japanese feel, you can opt for a furniture set featuring bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime styled after HYDE’s Edyh character.
