While Sony has yet to confirm, speculation points to the teen horror adventure Until Dawn being offered as a free download for PlayStation users in May. The key art hints at the Until Dawn Remastered version rather than the 2014 original, though details remain unclear; we’ll provide updates once confirmed.
PlayStation Plus is an online gaming service for PlayStation consoles, offering monthly free games, time-limited trials, online multiplayer, and exclusive discounts for members. According to discussions on the PlayStation subreddit (credit to PushSquare), this move might tie into promoting the new Until Dawn movie, released just before the weekend. The film fell short of expectations; we gave it a 5/10, noting in IGN’s Until Dawn movie review: "Until Dawn feels more lackluster than lethal, abandoning the horror game’s potential for a mishmash of recycled horror tropes."
