How to Obtain Lunacy in Limbus Company

Mar 25,2025 Author: Sarah

In Limbus Company, Lunacy serves as the premium currency, pivotal for acquiring new Identities and EGOs. This makes Lunacy the game's primary gacha currency, essential for unlocking new character variants. To maximize your gameplay and enjoy all the new additions, accumulating Lunacy is crucial.

Earning Lunacy in Limbus Company follows a pattern familiar to gacha game enthusiasts. At the start, you'll find yourself awash with Lunacy, but as your account progresses, the rate of acquisition will decrease significantly.

How to Get Lunacy in Limbus Company

For newcomers, diving into the main story is the most effective way to amass Lunacy. Completing each chapter can earn you approximately 390 Lunacy, with an additional 260 if you manage to secure an EX rating on enough missions. Achieving an EX clear involves meeting all specific EX objectives for a mission, and doing so for the first time will grant you an extra 40 Lunacy. Strive to meet these objectives to boost your Lunacy reserves.

First-time clears of Luxcavation stages also offer Lunacy rewards, though these are one-time opportunities.

Once you've exhausted the available story quests, your Lunacy gains will begin to wane. At this point, your primary methods for acquiring Lunacy will shift to the following:

  • Completing or EX clearing event stages.
  • Tackling Boosted Mirror Dungeons.
  • Uptying Identities.
  • Earning rewards from the battle pass.
  • Making direct purchases.

Engaging with Boosted Mirror Dungeons will become your most reliable source of Lunacy. You can participate in up to three of these dungeons weekly, earning 750 Lunacy in total. These dungeons reset every Wednesday, and given their difficulty, it's wise to deploy your strongest Identities.

Events represent another excellent opportunity to gather Lunacy, albeit for a limited time. Participating in these events whenever possible is advisable, and be sure to review all event rewards to ensure you don't miss out on any additional benefits.

Uptying involves enhancing your Sinners' Identities and EGOs. As you reach higher Uptie tiers, your characters grow stronger, and upon reaching Uptie Tier 3, you'll receive 40 Lunacy. While this method has its limits, reaching Uptie Tier 3 with non-default Sinner Identities takes time, making it a long-term strategy for Lunacy accumulation. Continue to level up your characters and gather Threads to eventually Uptie your entire lineup.

Lastly, the battle passes in Limbus Company offer a wealth of resources to enhance your Sinners, including Lunacy. While there are free tracks available, unlocking all rewards may require a real money investment.
