Mastering Rune Slayer: Essential Tips for New Players

Here are some things we wish we'd known sooner:
Avoid Unprovoked PvP
Screenshot by The EscapistInitially, the full-loot PvP aspect worried us. However, death doesn't result in item loss. The catch? Attacking players incurs a bounty. More kills mean a larger bounty, leading to greater item loss upon your own death. Essentially, full-loot PvP is self-imposed. Unless you're strategically ganking with friends, avoid attacking other players.
Craft Bags Immediately
Screenshot by The EscapistInventory and bank space are severely limited. Fortunately, you can craft bags. Two can be equipped simultaneously, starting with the Cotton Bag. Find Cotton north of Wayshire and Flax south (be cautious of mobs in the south). Each Cotton Bag adds 10 slots – craft them early!
Pets Don't Perish
Screenshot by The EscapistContrary to initial impressions, your pets don't die permanently. After reaching zero health, they have a 5-minute summon cooldown (check with the 'T' key). To quickly heal your pet, store and retrieve it at the stable master (you have one free slot).
Accept All Quests

Craft Everything (At Least Once)

Join a Guild
While Rune Slayer is solo-friendly, tougher enemies are best tackled in groups. Joining a guild is the easiest way to find groupmates. Use general chat or the official Rune Slayer Discord to find a guild and conquer challenging foes.
