The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) is set to make a thrilling return to Riyadh for the 2025 Esports World Cup, boasting an impressive $3 million prize pool. This marks another significant step in the EWC's dedication to elevating mobile esports, with the MSC slated to feature again in the 2026 tournament.
The action begins with the Wildcard stage, scheduled from July 10th to 13th during the EWC Festival. This stage offers teams one final opportunity to secure their place in the main event. Following the Wildcard, the MSC tournament will take place from July 23rd to August 2nd, showcasing 16 of the world's top MLBB teams.
The tournament format remains consistent with previous years, starting with a group stage divided into two double-elimination brackets of eight teams each. This will lead into a single-elimination playoff for the top eight teams. Alongside the substantial prize pool, the tournament MVP will receive a $10,000 bonus.
Qualification events are currently in progress worldwide. Teams from key regions such as MPL Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and LATAM are competing for their spots, while champions from regions including Cambodia, Türkiye, and Myanmar are either confirmed or on the brink of qualification.

The North America Challenger Tournament has concluded, with BloodThirstyKings clinching their spot. The MSC x EWC China Qualifier and the MSC Wildcard in July will finalize the tournament lineup.

Last year's MSC was a spectacular event, with Malaysia's Selangor Red Giants emerging victorious after a flawless playoff run, ultimately defeating Falcons AP.Bren in the final match. The all-Filipino lineup of Falcons AP.Bren had been dominant throughout the tournament but fell short in the championship clash.
