Netmarble’s Beat 'Em Up King Of Fighters ALLSTAR Is Shutting Down Soon

Netmarble's popular action RPG, King of Fighters ALLSTAR, is set to conclude its run this year. The official announcement on Netmarble forums confirmed the game's shutdown date: October 30th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been disabled, ceasing on June 26th, 2024.

Reasons for Closure:

King of Fighters ALLSTAR enjoyed a successful six-year run, featuring numerous high-profile crossovers from the legendary King of Fighters franchise. Despite generally positive player reviews praising its animations and PvP, the developers hinted at a potential shortage of characters to adapt as a contributing factor to the shutdown. Other undisclosed issues likely played a role as well. The game also faced recent criticism regarding optimization problems and unexpected crashes. Regardless, it achieved millions of downloads across Google Play and the App Store.

Players still interested have approximately four months remaining to experience the game's iconic battles and roster of fighters. Download King of Fighters ALLSTAR from the Google Play Store before the servers shut down in October.
