Nintendo has officially confirmed that Switch 2 preorders will begin April 9 in the U.S. and April 8 in the UK. Scheduled for release June 5, 2025, the Nintendo Switch 2 launches at $449.99 following today's full reveal.
A Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle will retail for $499.99, including the system and digital download code for Mario Kart World available at launch. The standalone Mario Kart World game carries a $79.99 price point.

Invitations will be emailed on a first-come, first-served basis, valid for 72 hours with purchase limits of one system and one of each accessory per account. General preorders open April 9 at all major retailers.
