OOTP Baseball Go 26 puts you in charge of any MLB or KBO franchise for the 2025 season, complete with accurate rosters and schedules. You also get full, free access to the 1927, 1984, and 2014 MLB seasons. This lets you manage legendary teams like Babe Ruth's Yankees or the 1984 Detroit Tigers.
Additional historical seasons, ranging from 1901 to 2024, are also available as separate in-app purchases.
Now, let's explore the game modes. The Franchise Mode is a deep, single-player experience where you control every aspect of your team at your own pace. You can manage a real-world club, a fictional team, or create an entirely original baseball universe from the ground up.
You have complete control over trades, scouting, the amateur draft, and fine-tuning your daily lineups. The 3D game view is impressive, allowing you to watch games in full 3D and even make strategic decisions pitch-by-pitch.
For a more competitive challenge, Perfect Team is the online mode. Here, you build your ultimate roster using player cards and compete against managers worldwide. It features card collection mechanics alongside several new additions.
This mode introduces Perfect Team Variants, a new progression system to improve your players. You can also earn Clubhouse Stars, a special currency from tournaments and league play, to unlock exclusive cards and card packs.

The scouting system has been significantly enhanced with more detail. You can now manage scouting budgets, set regional priorities, and receive more in-depth reports on players. The AI has also been upgraded, making trade negotiations and player behavior feel more authentic.
Even fictional ballparks now feature randomized designs, ensuring each new save feels unique. For the KBO league, new mechanics like military service time and free agent compensation have been added.
