Pokemon GO January Community Day Classic: Ralts Takes Center Stage

Niantic has announced that Ralts will be the star of the January 2025 Community Day Classic event. This guide details the event's features, bonuses, and in-game purchase options.

Encounter and Evolve the "Feeling Pokemon"

From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time) on January 25th, 2025, trainers will have a boosted chance to find Ralts, including its shiny form.

A special research story, available for $2 USD, offers rewards such as a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and three Ralts encounters with Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds.

Evolving Ralts into Kirlia during the event (or within five hours afterward) unlocks Gardevoir or Gallade with the powerful Charged Attack "Synchronoise" (80 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms, and Raids).

Timed Research provides 4 Sinnoh Stones and a Ralts encounter with a Dual Destiny-themed background. Unlike the main Community Day event, this research will be accessible for a week post-event.

• 3-hour Lure Modules and Incense duration
• Snapshot surprises!

An Ultra Community Day Box ($4.99 USD) containing 10 Ultra Balls, 1 Elite Charged TM, and a Special Research ticket will be available in the Pokemon GO Web Store starting January 21st, 2025, at 10:00 AM (local time).

Two in-game Community Day bundles will also be offered:

• 1,350 PokeCoins: 50 Ultra Balls, 5 Super Incubators, 1 Elite Charged TM, 5 Lucky Eggs
• 480 PokeCoins: 30 Ultra Balls, 1 Incense, 3 Super Incubators, 1 Lure Module

Pokemon GO's Continuing Monthly Community Day Tradition

Niantic's monthly Community Day Classic events continue, each spotlighting a different Pokémon (November 2024 featured Mankey). These events offer increased encounter rates for the featured Pokémon (including shiny variants) and an exclusive move for its evolved form. Additional bonuses, such as reduced egg hatching distances, are also common.

December's Community Day will be a special two-day event with multiple Pokémon, enhanced encounter rates, and shiny possibilities. Standard Community Day perks and bonuses will also be included.
