Ubisoft unveiled the newest Rainbow Six Siege operator, Rauora, at the Six Invitational. This New Zealand-based attacker boasts a unique gadget: the DOM launcher.
The DOM launcher is a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by small arms fire, it's vulnerable to explosives. A crucial tactical element is its differing activation times: one second for attackers, three seconds for defenders – a significant advantage during defuser plants.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. She can also equip the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the next week, with a wider release to follow.
