Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, escalating the Flame-Chase Journey with new challenges and mysteries.

New 5-Star Characters Join the Fray

Version 3.1 introduces two formidable 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the acquisition of Nikador's Coreflame, players venture into the Grove of Epiphany to rescue survivors and unravel the catastrophe's origins, ultimately aiming to reclaim Cerces' Coreflame for Okhema.

The update delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State, uncovering the Era Chrysea's hidden history and Tribbie's past. Tribbie (Tribios), the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, is a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, tasked with spreading a prophecy.

Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. His unique ability involves sacrificing HP to power up, triggering an enhanced form with automatic enemy attacks during his turns.

Returning Characters and Events

Version 3.1 also features the return of limited 5-star characters Yunli (first half of the warp event) and Huohuo (second half).

The Divergent Universe event returns with a research focus on Amphoreus and a new Day/Night battle system, altering combat buffs and effects based on the time of day.

The "Awooo Firm" event casts players as managers assisting Okhema's chimera squad.
