2026 Release Date
Housemarque's Saros, a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro exclusive, is set to launch in 2026. Building upon the success of Returnal, this new IP will refine and expand on the thrilling third-person action gameplay. The narrative will follow Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
A Stronger Return
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand independently and establish a new franchise. While Returnal is known for its dynamic roguelike elements and shifting environments, Saros will introduce persistent character progression, allowing players to enhance their weapons and suits to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
Further gameplay details will be revealed later in 2025.
