Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream showcasing the exciting 25th-anniversary celebration for The Sims franchise. The event unveiled a plethora of free gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already commenced with a new update. This update addresses various bugs, boasts a redesigned main menu, and includes performance optimizations. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have received a stylish makeover. These updated houses are immediately available in new games, and accessible via the library for existing saves.

The main event begins February 4th with an update delivering over 70 free items! A new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," launches concurrently. Players can unlock retro-themed items and a complete new set by completing simple challenges.
Further enhancing the celebration, a new season called "Motherlode" starts February 6th in The Sims 4. While specific details remain undisclosed, anticipation is high for this new seasonal content.
