Solaris Joins Battle of Polytopia, Aiming to Incinerate Square!
May 25,2025Author: Isaac
The Battle of Polytopia has unleashed the scorching Solaris tribe on mobile platforms, months after its initial PC release. This fiery counterpart to the icy Polaris tribe is set to incinerate the Square and bring a new level of intensity to the game.
The Solaris Ignites The Battle of Polytopia
With the new Solaris skin, the once frozen elements are transformed into a blazing inferno. The tribe's aesthetic has shifted from chilling to scorching, altering their strategic approach to a more explosive style. This update not only heats up the gameplay but also enriches the lore with a tale of an eternal war that devastates entire worlds.
Previously, the Polaris had engaged with the enigmatic Gaami, but the narrative escalates with the introduction of the Ralmi. These fire-wielding invaders have emerged from the depths and are determined to conquer the Square. Their initial move involves enslaving the Solaris and spreading their fiery magic across the land.
Solaris' Strategic Innovations
The Solaris tribe introduces unique gameplay mechanics that alter the landscape and battle dynamics. They possess the ability to convert water into solid lava, which significantly impacts map navigation. Their units, such as the Pyro, leave a trail of destruction by burning surrounding areas as they move, and the Ash Archers can turn enemy units to stone.
Additionally, the Steam Wagon provides swift movement over lava rivers, and Lava Banks enable players to generate stars by setting the terrain ablaze. To explore the Solaris' capabilities, watch the trailer below.
Players can delve into new skills like Heatwork for crater construction, Geothermics for harnessing volcanic energy, and Explosives for dramatic effects. Meanwhile, the Ralmi introduce their own formidable tactics with the Tuagama Lizard and Igmina Crystals.
