Solo Leveling: Arise's 2025 Championship: A Competitive Twist for a Single-Player Game

The Solo Leveling: Arise Championship 2025, announced earlier this year, is set to bring competitive esports action to Netmarble's popular manhwa-inspired game. Preliminaries begin February 21st, culminating in a grand final in Korea on April 12th.

This speed-run style tournament challenges players to achieve the fastest clear times across four Battlefield of Time maps. Participation is open to players with 1000+ points in Battlefield of Time Season 7. The competition is divided into Asian and International leagues. The top eight from each league will advance to the finals, vying for a significant portion of a 20 million KRW prize pool.

A Unique Competitive Landscape

While a competitive championship for a primarily single-player game might seem unusual, the immense popularity of the original Solo Leveling manhwa and the thriving South Korean esports scene suggest a potentially large and engaged viewership.
