How To Study a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event

Week two of *The Sims 4*'s Blast from the Past event is in full swing, sending players on a thrilling scavenger hunt for clues. But one seemingly simple task has players stumped: studying a Historical Display. Here's how to conquer this challenge.

One of Week 2's quests requires you to study a Historical Display at a museum. Long-time players will likely know their local museum, but newcomers should open their map and look for the pillar icon. While there are four default museums, Municipal Muses in Willow Creek and The Future’s Past in Oasis Springs are ideal choices due to their proximity to other event tasks.

How to Study a Historical Display

Once you've arrived at a museum, enter and locate a Historical Display. Both paintings and sculptures qualify. Click on the display and select "View." The completion of the quest will be indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.

Despite the quest's simplicity, many players report difficulties. Mods appear to be interfering, preventing the "View" option from working. Some players have even resorted to removing all mods, but with varying success. While we hope EA addresses this issue, the best current strategy is to try viewing multiple items at different museums.

Even after successfully studying a Historical Display, several more challenges await before completing Week 2. The full list includes:
