Ubisoft Patches AC Origins, Valhalla for Windows 11 Compatibility

It appears Ubisoft has successfully addressed compatibility problems between their Assassin’s Creed titles and the 24H2 update for Windows 11. Since the fall of 2024, games like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Valhalla, and others stopped working correctly on the updated operating system. This frustrating glitch has now been fixed through newly released patches, which were announced on the Steam pages for Origins and Valhalla.

Players in the comment sections are ecstatic, refraining from their usual criticism, as this time the problem originated from Windows itself—not Ubisoft. Many are expressing gratitude for the long-awaited resolution. Despite this, recent reviews for both games remain Mixed.

There’s optimism surrounding Assassin’s Creed Shadows, too. Its release has been pushed to March 20, as Ubisoft prioritizes enhancing the game’s quality. Given its importance, the success of this title could significantly impact the company’s future trajectory.
