At first glance, Arise Crossover seems simple: amass Shadow units, obliterate defenseless enemies, and build an unstoppable army. But even seasoned players can get lost in the leveling, unit selection, and progression. This guide is for those feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Screenshot by The EscapistEach island in Arise Crossover offers recruitable Shadows, culminating in a powerful dungeon Shadow. Currently, Soondoo (early game) is the weakest, while Mifalcon (final Brum Island) is the strongest. However, rank trumps type. A Rank A Soondoo far surpasses a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units achieve significantly higher levels; a Rank D maxes at level 75, while an SS unit reaches level 200. The ultimate goal? Four level 200 Mifalcons (SS rank). The journey is the real challenge.

Portals spawn randomly across islands, with varying difficulty. Begin with a team of Rank D units tackling Rank D or C dungeons on Leveling Island. This builds a foundation and potentially yields rare Shadow units. Dungeons are the key to recruiting rare and higher-ranked (above C) units.

Accept this helpfulness to acquire stronger units. Dungeon Shadow recruitment is the core progression mechanic in Arise Crossover. We progressed to the endgame with the help of others in higher-ranked dungeons, and later returned the favor.
Arise Crossover Weapons
Screenshot by The EscapistCurrently (Beta), player weapons are largely ineffective. Early game utility diminishes rapidly. The Iron Kando Blade (currently the strongest common weapon) costs 60m for 516.1K damage, insignificant compared to unit damage (200-400 million). Unless you have excess currency, save your resources for future updates.
How to get a mount in Arise Crossover
Screenshot by The EscapistWild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, claimable by only one player per server. A server-wide message announces their appearance. However, messages aren't always sent for claiming or disappearance. Six spawn locations exist: three main islands, two smaller islands between main islands, and one island behind the main ones. Consult the developer's map for precise locations.

Flying mounts are rarest (approximately 10% spawn rate), ground mounts are common, and water mounts are purchasable from the Boat Shop NPC. While not essential for progression, mounts, especially flying mounts, greatly improve travel efficiency. Keep an eye out for the server message and race to the locations. We're still hunting for that elusive flying mount!
