Get ready for even more thrilling chaos in Among Us with the launch of its newest update, introducing three brand-new roles. Innersloth has also rolled out lobby setting adjustments and various other enhancements. Read on to discover all the exciting details!
Crewmates can now play as the Tracker and Noisemaker, while Impostors can become the Phantom. The Tracker possesses a unique ability to monitor another crewmate's location on the map for a limited time, helping you expose Impostors who lie about their positions and better protect your teammates.
The Noisemaker is another valuable Crewmate role. If a Noisemaker is eliminated by an Impostor, they trigger a loud alarm, similar to a siren. A visual indicator also appears on screen, pinpointing the exact location of the incident. This offers the remaining crew a prime opportunity to rush to the scene and possibly catch the Impostor red-handed.
Finally, meet the elusive Phantom. As the Phantom, you can activate a short period of invisibility right after making a kill, allowing you to slip away undetected. Leave your crewmates thoroughly confused and make every second of your cloaking ability count!
Beyond the three new roles, Among Us has also updated its lobby interface. You can now effortlessly view the room code, map information, player count, and other game settings. Additionally, a previous issue causing players to get stuck in a ladder animation on The Fungle's Mushroom Mixup map has been resolved.
Shapeshifters will no longer be revealed mid-transformation when emergency meetings are called, and their transformation timers now function correctly. Lastly, cosmetic pets, such as the Desolation of Skeld, will now appear during actual gameplay. Watch the video below for a closer look at the latest Among Us update and a preview of the new roles!
