Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Support

The festive Jingle Hells mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies offers a holiday makeover of Liberty Falls, but it also introduces unique mechanics for weapon upgrades and item acquisition. This guide details how to upgrade weapons, obtain Ammo Mods, and acquire equipment and Support items.

Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells

Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades are achieved using Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity levels (color-coded). Using a higher-rarity Aether Tool (e.g., Purple/Legendary) upgrades your weapon to that tier. Here's how to obtain Aether Tools:

  • Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The resulting zombie drop contains a chance of an Aether Tool; higher rounds yield higher rarity tools.
  • Bank Vault: Loot Keys open safety deposit boxes in the Bank Vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, especially at higher reward tiers, offers a chance to acquire Aether Tools.
  • Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrades a weapon to Legendary rarity.
  • Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as rounds progress.

Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells

Currently, the only Ammo Mod available in Jingle Hells is Cryo Freeze. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily obtained from:

  • Holiday Presents: These randomly drop loot, with higher rarity items appearing in later rounds. Holiday Presents are acquired by:
    • Killing enemies.
    • Using the Naughty or Nice power-up (Nice yields multiple presents; Naughty spawns vermin).
    • S.A.M. Machine spawns presents upon activation.

Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells

The Workbench is also absent in Jingle Hells, eliminating Salvage-based equipment crafting. However, equipment and Support items can still be obtained through:

  • Enemy Drops: Killing enemies, especially Special and Elite enemies, can drop equipment and Support items.
  • Holiday Presents: These can contain equipment.
  • S.A.M. Trials: These offer a chance at equipment and Support rewards.
  • Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: These may contain equipment and Support.
