A free application for creating and editing Scalable Vector Graphics.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a W3C standard for vector graphics. Unlike bitmap images, which are made of fixed pixels, vector graphics consist of defined shapes and their properties. The key advantage of SVG is its scalability—enlarging the image does not reduce any detail.

This application (PainterSVG) is an editor designed for SVG images. It offers the following features:

- Create and edit shapes, such as lines, circles, and rectangles

- Create and edit paths, including straight lines, cubic curves, and quadratic curves; easily drag stop points and control points to adjust the path

- Simple options to define stroke and fill for all shapes and paths

- Support for solid color fills, linear gradients, and radial gradients across all shapes

- Easy selection and deselection of elements, along with dragging to move, resize, or rotate

- Simple zoom in and zoom out controls

- Group and ungroup elements with ease

- Read from and write to external SVG files

- Export to PNG files (with transparent background) or JPG files (with white background)
