The original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater launched on September 29th, 1999, and launched a hugely successful franchise. While a remastered collection of THPS 1+2 was released in 2020, plans for remastering THPS 3 and 4 were unfortunately canceled following the closure of Vicarious Visions. Tony Hawk previously expressed disappointment over the cancellation, citing the studio's dissolution and Activision's restructuring.
