Fans of the Alien universe are in for a thrilling upgrade with *Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition*, a single-player action-horror game that's ditching the VR requirement. Launching on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025, this new edition promises "even deadlier Xenomorphs and enhanced visuals." Excited gamers can start wishlisting the non-VR edition today on Steam and PlayStation.
Originally released for PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam in December 2024, and later on Meta Quest 3 in February, the game is getting a significant overhaul. Developed and published by Survios, *Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition* will be available in a standard edition for $29.99 and a Digital Deluxe edition for $39.99.

Set between the iconic films *Alien* and *Aliens*, the game thrusts players into a harrowing mission on the planet Purdan (LV-354). Players join Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, in a desperate search for a former squadmate. Their journey leads them to Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ chillingly desolate Castor’s Cradle research facility, filled with intense action, terrifying Xenomorphs, and gripping mystery.
IGN's review of the VR version awarded it a 7/10, noting, "*Alien: Rogue Incursion* is a compelling first crack at bringing *Alien* to VR with lots of room to grow." The team behind the game will showcase a brand-new look at the Evolved Edition at IGN Live next month, giving fans a glimpse of what's to come.
