Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has been delighting fans for over a month now, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the experience with their planned updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 post-launch roadmap on Twitter (X), promising a wealth of new story and gameplay content.
One of the most exciting additions are the new Story Drops, which are multiple free content updates for the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."
In addition to the free updates, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, set to launch later this year. This DLC will take players to the island of Awaji, a fresh region to explore post-epilogue. Expect to encounter new enemies, gain new abilities for both protagonists, and wield an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
