全新《鬼武者》游戏将于2026年发售，背景设定在江户时代的京都。Capcom还宣布了《大神》的续作，但发售日期尚未公布。这款续作将由原版游戏的导演和开发团队共同开发。
Capcom表示：“Capcom正专注于重新激活那些近期没有推出新作的沉寂IP。” “公司正努力通过利用其丰富的游戏内容库来进一步提升企业价值，这包括重启上述两个IP等过去IP，以便持续制作高效、高质量的游戏。”
