Crazy Ones, a newly released otome game with a male protagonist, is now available. This unique title blends turn-based battles with a narrative-driven dating sim experience. Players interact with four distinct female characters, each possessing a unique personality, as they navigate the world of high-stakes business and romance.
The game's billing as the first male-centric, turn-based otome game certainly piqued my interest. Inspired by Steve Jobs' famous quote, "Here's to the Crazy Ones," the game places you in the shoes of a male protagonist thrust into the fast-paced world of big business. Expect plenty of romance and drama as you pursue relationships with four compelling women: Hakuo, the dependable HR manager; Hyouka Natsume, the tsundere president of rival Natsume Technology Group; Chika Ono, an aspiring musician; and Tomoko, the protagonist's protégé. Combat is handled through turn-based card battles utilizing the protagonist's memories.

While Crazy Ones emphasizes emotional connections over simple fanservice, and the title itself hints at potential narrative surprises, I do have some reservations. The promotion of simultaneous romances as a key selling point feels slightly dubious. However, Crazy Ones appears to be a solid visual novel-style game for genre enthusiasts.
Despite my reservations, I encourage you to explore Crazy Ones for yourself. It's available now on the iOS App Store and Google Play.
