Destiny Child is Making a Comeback as an Idle RPG Soon!

Destiny Child is returning! Initially launched in 2016 and archived in September 2023, this beloved title is being revived by Com2uS, taking over development from ShiftUp.

A Fresh Start?

Com2uS and ShiftUp have partnered to create a completely new Destiny Child experience – an idle RPG. Development is spearheaded by Com2uS subsidiary, Tiki Taka Studio (known for titles like the tactical RPG, Arcana Tactics). This reimagining will retain the original's emotional core and charming 2D character art, but with a revamped gameplay system.

Remember the Memorial?

Destiny Child's initial release captivated players with its endearing characters and real-time battles. Following its closure after almost seven years, ShiftUp released a memorial app.

While not a fully functional game, the memorial app allows players to revisit the stunning character artwork and fondly remember their Childs. Access requires verification using previous account data, limiting access to those who played before the shutdown. It serves as a nostalgic trip down memory lane, preserving the Childs and their classes, even without active gameplay. If you have access, download it from the Google Play Store and enjoy the art – at least until the new game arrives!
