The upcoming beta test promises to welcome a substantial influx of new players. Unlike previous closed betas, this event will not be under an NDA, allowing participants to freely share their experiences and even stream their gameplay online. Funcom's announcement states, "With access to the first 20 hours of the game and most of Act 1 of the story, you will get a taste of both spice and story."
To participate in the Beta weekend, players can wishlist and request access to the game on Dune: Awakening's Steam page, or they might receive Beta codes during the game's global broadcast scheduled for May 10. Keep an eye out for more details about the beta soon.
