EA Launches Playtest for Sims Spinoff, City Life Game with Friends

Electronic Arts, known as EA, is rolling out an exciting playtest for their new game, City Life Game with Friends, as part of EA's The Sims Project Rene. This limited-time playtest on Android devices aims to gather valuable feedback on gameplay and player interaction, offering a sneak peek into the future of this innovative project.

Where Is the City Life Game with Friends Playtest Available?

The playtest is exclusively available for Android users whose devices are running at least Android 12 with a minimum of 4GB of RAM. Keep in mind, this opportunity is not open to everyone, so check your eligibility. The game will be accessible until April 4th, 2025, but the end times vary by region: 7 PM UTC, 6 AM AEST in Australia, and 3 AM PHT in the Philippines. Once the playtest concludes, you'll need to uninstall the game. Remember, this isn't the final product but rather a glimpse into EA's experimental journey with Project Rene.

What’s in Store?

Once you dive into City Life Game with Friends, you'll have the chance to craft a character that reflects your unique style and vibe. The neighborhood comes alive with a variety of activities: explore the Thrift Shop for new outfits, relax at the Café, or contribute to community events. Collaborate with others to organize block parties, make wishes at the plaza fountain, and embark on quests for hidden collectibles. The game encourages social interaction and community building through shared interests in art, music, and engaging conversations.

Interested in participating? Head over to the Google Play Store to check it out, provided you're in one of the designated playtest regions. If this isn't your cup of tea, don't miss our next update on Bandai Namco's decision to discontinue PAC-MAN Mobile on its 45th Anniversary.
