After a brief delay to complete the Outlaw Keycard Community Quest, Story Quests are back in *Fortnite* Chapter 6, Season 2, and they're more challenging than ever, especially Stage 4. Here’s your guide on how to equip the Sensor Backpack and scan Mysterious Energy Signatures in *Fortnite*.
Stage 3 of the Wanted: Midas Quests requires you to open an Outlaw Chest, which means you need to reach Rare rarity with the Outlaw Keycard. This task can take a few hours as it involves robbing vaults, eliminating guards, and spending a hefty amount of gold. Once you manage to open that chest, you'll be ready for Stage 4, which is no walk in the park.
To find the "Sensor Backpack," head to the area south of Crime City, behind the wolf statue where you can join the Secret Wolf Pack. Many players might already know this spot. Look for a case on the ground near the statue; interact with it to equip the Sensor Backpack, which will replace your Back Bling.

With the Sensor Backpack equipped, your next task is to scan the Mysterious Energy Signatures in *Fortnite*. There are three signatures located nearby, up the mountain from where you found the backpack. Look for areas marked with exclamation points. When you reach the first one, glowing strings of lights will appear; interact with them to scan the signature.
The three signatures are close to each other, but you must scan all of them to complete the Sensor Backpack Quest and earn your XP. Be cautious, as other players may be completing their Outlaw Quests and might not hesitate to send you back to the lobby. It's wise to loot up before heading to the mountain to be prepared for any encounters.
Once you've completed the Sensor Backpack challenge, move on to Stage 5, where you'll need to steal a copy of the Mask-Making Book from the Mask Maker’s Hideout. If you manage your time well, you can complete this task in the same game, especially with access to a vehicle.
