Given the already extensive roster of over a dozen factions in Tacticus, the possibilities might appear limited at first glance. While another Imperial or Chaos subfaction seems plausible, several xenos factions desperately deserve attention in the game. Here's our educated speculation:

If forced to predict the new faction, our money would be on the recently introduced Leagues of Votann. These deep-space mining, genetically-engineered space dwarves (though officially they're absolutely not dwarves) represent one of the more distinctive new additions to the 40K universe.

Their inclusion in Tacticus could significantly boost awareness of this intriguing faction. Though admittedly, we may simply see another established force like the Grey Knights or Inquisition join the fray.
