Fans can now preorder various figures from the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX anime series. These collectibles range from standard 1/144 scale model kits to premium spirit figures, with prices starting at $18 up to $210. The series marks a unique collaboration between Sunrise (Bandai Namco Filmworks) and Studio Khara, bringing together creators from both Gundam and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The creative team includes Evangelion's Hideki Anno as script supervisor and Kazuya Tsurumaki (Rebuild of Evangelion director) as series director. The story follows high school student Amate Yuzuriha who gets involved in illegal mech battles after meeting war refugee Nyaan.
Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX will stream exclusively on Prime Video, with subscriptions starting at $7.99/month or included in Amazon Prime memberships ($14.99/month). New users can try Prime Video free for 30 days.
