In Into a Hearth Yonder, whether you're adventuring solo or with friends, you'll be accompanied by a charming group of automata. These adorable companions not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also boost various aspects of gameplay, such as combat, farming, fishing, mining, and crafting. "We thought it would be fun to embody player stats and skills as cute, Tamagotchi-like automata," explained Chris O'Kelly, studio head at Sway State Games. "You take joy in collecting and caring for them, and in return, they enhance your exploration of Viteria, improve your quality of life, and empower you to lean fully into your favorite playstyle."

"We aimed to lay out a cozy table of adventure, to explore at your own pace, with plenty of building, crafting, exploration, and magic," O'Kelly added. "It's 'survival' but with less struggle - just a worry-free deceleration, really."
