The Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Hogwarts Legacy will feature enhanced graphics, quicker load times, and take full advantage of the new mouse controls as well.
As shown in a new comparison teaser trailer, while the original required loading screens when entering or leaving Hogsmeade, the Switch 2 version allows seamless transitions between locations.

Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the wizarding world of the 1800s. Starting as a fifth-year student, players explore new and familiar locations, encounter magical creatures, brew potions, master spellcasting, upgrade talents, and customize their character to become the witch or wizard they aspire to be. It launches on Nintendo Switch 2 the same day the console arrives, June 5.
We thoroughly enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy, giving it a 9/10 in our IGN Hogwarts Legacy review, stating: "In almost every way, Hogwarts Legacy is the Harry Potter RPG we've always wanted to play."
