Get ready, Trailblazers! Honkai: Star Rail is rolling out its Version 3.2 update, 'Through the Petals in the Land of Repose,' on April 9th. This new chapter promises thrilling lore, epic battles, and the introduction of new characters. Plus, HoYoVerse is gearing up for the game's two-year anniversary with exciting events and generous giveaways.
The update introduces two new 5-star characters: Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Castorice, a Chrysos Heir burdened by the Touch of Death, brings a compelling backstory and powerful abilities. She's on a quest to find the lost Coreflame of Death, wielding the Netherwing. On the other hand, Anaxa, one of the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany, brings a scholarly approach to the team. His dark experiences have reshaped his view on reality, and his Ultimate, Sublimation, can impose seven Weaknesses on every enemy simultaneously.
Returning characters will also make an appearance. In the first half of Version 3.2, you'll see reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron. If you missed Dr. Ratio last time, he'll be available again in the second half. Additionally, HoYoverse has teased balance changes coming in Version 3.4 for Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu, though specifics are yet to be revealed. The narrative takes us to Styxia, a forgotten city submerged beneath the Sea of Souls, filled with dragon bones and haunted by spirits. Trailblazers will guide Castorice through this eerie locale, uncovering the secrets of the Titans and the draconic catastrophe that devastated the city.
To celebrate the anniversary, HoYoVerse is offering 20 free pulls just for logging in. On April 26th, the anniversary day, players will receive 1,600 Stellar Jades and a special in-game card from a companion. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to choose a free 5-star character between Ruan Mei or Luocha.
