Bethesda has announced that Update 3 for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is scheduled for release next week. In a tweet, Bethesda provided initial details about the update, which promises a range of fixes and improvements. Notably, the update will introduce support for Nvidia DLSS 4, including Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction, enhancing the game's graphical performance.
Since its launch in early December, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has encountered several game-breaking bugs. Players are eagerly anticipating that Update 3 will address these issues. Last month, Bethesda mentioned that the February update would include new graphical features and options, and target specific bugs that have hindered players from achieving 100% completion and from performing actions like climbing vines or squeezing through walls in Sukhothai. It remains to be seen whether these fixes will be included in next week's patch.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released on PC and Xbox Series X and S, and as a Microsoft-owned title, it was available on Game Pass from day one. The game has attracted 4 million players to date. Developed by MachineGames, it has received critical acclaim and won multiple awards, including three at the D.I.C.E. Awards. A PlayStation 5 version is slated for release this spring.
In related news, Harrison Ford, the iconic actor behind Indiana Jones, has praised Troy Baker's portrayal of the character in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's performance, stating, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
