Infinity Nikki Developers Finally Address Player Concerns After Weeks of Silence
Following persistent player demands for transparency, the Infinity Nikki development team has officially responded to community concerns. Many players have experienced significant issues with Version 1.5 since its April 28th launch, and developers have now acknowledged the update wasn't properly optimized. As a direct consequence, the team has postponed Version 1.6's release schedule.
Revised Update Schedule
Originally slated for June 4th, Version 1.6 will now launch on June 12th. The current Bubble Season events - including Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? - will remain active through this extended period. Various in-game stores and promotions, such as Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event, will likewise remain available until the new update date.
The development team has issued an apology, citing performance optimization challenges across PlayStation and other platforms. They confirm ongoing refinements to gameplay systems and reassure players that postponed story content like Threads of Reunion remains in development rather than cancelled.
Current Game Status
Players continue encountering numerous technical issues including bugged quests and unreliable co-op functionality. As compensation, developers are distributing daily login bonuses of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal from June 5th through 12th. Some community members have criticized this measure as a superficial attempt to maintain player engagement following recent disappointments.
Additional controversy emerged when promotional banners for new outfits appeared shortly after the apology announcement. Community reactions remain divided regarding both the Version 1.5 launch issues and subsequent Version 1.6 delay.
