This update debuts multiple innovative systems, including additional backpack equipment slots and a Prey mechanic that grants XP and stat bonuses against designated targets. Players can now track their monster hunting progress through the new Bosstiary feature, which provides permanent combat enhancements.
The Temple District receives a complete visual redesign alongside new social spaces featuring taverns for trading and minigames. Beneath the cathedral awaits a Saint Mardi-themed side quest that hints at future narrative developments.
Combat sees significant improvements with spell resistance calculations and instanced dungeon access, even for PvP zones. Mount and fortress buffs now face potential dispelling, while pet companions gain experience passively during battles and can be deployed in pairs.
