Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

As you prepare for the Sweet Discoveries event, Pokémon Go is gearing up for the exciting Crown Clash event, scheduled to run from May 10th to 18th. This royal-themed event promises a host of thrilling activities, including the debut of Kingambit, the Big Blade Pokémon. You'll have the opportunity to evolve Kingambit by setting Bisharp as your buddy and defeating 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. Bisharp doesn't need to battle; simply having it along for the victories will suffice.

Adding to the royal flair, Nidoqueen and Nidoking will appear in their majestic crowned variants, with the possibility of encountering their Shiny forms. These crowned Pokémon will headline three-star raids, while one-star raids will feature Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.

In the wild, you'll encounter more frequent spawns of Pokémon like Slowpoke (which might reward you with a King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more often, if luck is on your side.
