¡Ay Caramba! LEGO Revives The Simpsons With Krusty Burger Set
The brick masters at LEGO have cooked up something delicious - an official Krusty Burger set packed with nostalgic details from Springfield's most notorious fast food joint. This isn't just any playset; it's a meticulously designed 1,635-piece Collector's Edition featuring minifigures and Easter eggs galore.
First Simpsons LEGO Set in 6 Years
Marking LEGO's triumphant return to Springfield after a six-year hiatus, the Krusty Burger set launches June 4th ($209.99). Dedicated LEGO Insiders get first crack at the deep-fried goodness with early access starting June 1. Pro tip: sign up for free Insider membership today to get ahead of the game.
This marks the first new Simpsons LEGO offering since the 2018 Brickheadz figures. True fans will remember the beloved (and now retired) 2014 Simpsons House and 2015 Kwik-E-Mart sets - this new release taps into that same collector's spirit with obsessive attention to detail.
Inside the Box: Grease and Glory
Opening like an actual fast food joint on hinges, the build reveals:
- A fully-equipped kitchen worthy of a health code violation
- The notorious bathroom (three seashells not included)
- A dining area where your minifigs can enjoy their Krusty Burgers
Bonus builds include the iconic roadside sign and Homer's Krusty-themed car from the classic "Homie the Clown" episode. The exterior perfectly captures that questionable fast food aesthetic we know and love, complete with drive-thru details.
Meet the Cast (of Minifigs)
LEGO packed the set with seven legendary Springfield residents:
- Homer Simpson (duh)
- Bart and Lisa
- Sideshow Bob (no word if he comes with a rake accessory)
- Krusty himself
- The eternally teenaged Squeaky Voiced Teen
- Springfield PD's Officer Lou
Early Bird Special
LEGO Insiders who order between June 1-7 score an exclusive bonus: a 123-piece replica of the Simpson family living room (supplies limited). Perfect for recreating Homer's famous couch gags!
Stay tuned for our full review coming soon - we'll be interviewing the designers and putting this grease-stained masterpiece through its paces brick by brick.
