Snake Eater Remake Debuts Captivating Opening Cinematic

As the August launch of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater approaches, Konami has unveiled the stealth title's opening cinematic.

While featuring subtle tweaks, the sequence instantly resonates with fans of the original, from the striking newspaper visuals to the James Bond-inspired title track, performed again by Cynthia Harrell.

The footage teases key in-game moments—without revealing their context—including Snake diving backward off a waterfall with Olympic flair and, true to his name, consuming a snake.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater reimagines Konami's 2004 action-espionage classic, minus the "Delta" in its title. The publisher recently announced Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launches on August 28 and confirmed the return of the Snake vs. Monkey minigame.
