Mino: Balance and Match Colorful Minos in New Puzzle Game!

A delightful new puzzle game has landed on Android, and it's called Mino—a simple yet adorable match-3 puzzler. In the spirit of similar games in the genre, your goal is to match three or more identical pieces to clear them. However, Mino introduces an intriguing twist that adds a layer of challenge and excitement!

Mino Needs You to Be Stable

Balance is the key in Mino, and this twist sets it apart. As you're busy making matches, you also have to keep the board stable. If you don't, things can quickly spiral out of control.

In the game, you place Minos on the board, match them up, and keep the game going for as long as possible. However, every move you make causes the board to tilt. If you're not careful, your Minos could slide right off, ending your run. So, in addition to matching them, you need to consider how your placements affect the board's balance.

Time is always ticking in Mino, but don't worry—power-ups are here to help. You can clear columns, launch rockets to stabilize the board, and use a wildcard Mino that can match with anything. You can also upgrade your power-ups, giving you a better chance at surviving longer and achieving a high score. The game allows you to unlock and upgrade different Minos to boost your earnings as well.

Who Are These Minos?

It seems that Otori Studios, the developers behind Mino, drew inspiration from Minions when creating these charming creatures. The Minos certainly reminded me of those yellow, pill-shaped characters, though they come in a variety of colors. Take a look at them and see if you agree!

Mino is a fun game with a fresh concept and a decent challenge. Its playful art style and colorful, monster-like Minos give the game a toy-like feel. I certainly enjoyed these little creatures with their tiny spikes and adorable stubby tails.

You can check out Mino on the Google Play Store. It's free to play and available globally now.
