Monopoly GO Teams Up with Star Wars for Summer Podracing and Lightsaber Fun!

Get ready for an epic journey as Monopoly GO! launches into hyperspace with its latest event, the Monopoly GO x Star Wars collaboration. Following its successful Marvel crossover last year, this event marks another monumental partnership for Scopely, promising to be one of their most significant crossovers to date.

When Is the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab?

Mark your calendars! The event kicks off on May 1st and will run through July 2nd. The adventure begins when PEG-E, the beloved Monopoly GO robot, gets engrossed in a Star Wars movie in Mr. M's private cinema. Her fascination leads her to dream up an incredible scenario where she and her friends are transported into the Star Wars galaxy. The focus shifts from traditional Monopoly elements like properties and hotels to an exciting battle between Jedi and Sith, and the eternal struggle between the light and dark sides of the Force.

During the Monopoly GO x Star Wars event, players will have the chance to collect a new Star Wars GO! sticker album. This isn't just any album; it unfolds like a comic book, creatively reimagining parts of the Star Wars universe through PEG-E's imaginative lens. The stickers feature iconic characters such as R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.

The event also includes themed mini-games set in famous Star Wars locations like Tatooine and the Mos Espa Grand Arena. Imagine Qui-Gon and Mr. M engaging in thrilling podracing action, adding a unique twist to the traditional Monopoly GO events.

There’s More!

The Monopoly GO x Star Wars event trailer made its debut at Star Wars Celebration Japan, showcasing not only the characters and stickers but also how the gameplay will be infused with Star Wars elements. Expect to see lightsabers, space travel, and a galaxy full of excitement. You can watch the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collab trailer below to get a glimpse of what's in store.

In addition to the main attractions, players can look forward to collecting various Star Wars-themed cosmetics, including tokens, shields, and emojis. Stay tuned to the game's social media channels for the latest news and updates throughout the event.

Don't miss out on this exciting crossover! Download Monopoly GO from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the Star Wars universe starting May 1st.
