Myst-Like Lovecraftian Point-And-Click Puzzle My Father Lied Is Coming to Android This Year

In today's crowded gaming landscape, finding a truly unique experience can be a challenge. But My Father Lied stands out, offering a compelling blend of mystery, Lovecraftian horror, and puzzle-solving wrapped in a captivating narrative.

My Father Lied: An Indie Developer's Vision

The game's creation story is as fascinating as the game itself. Ahmed Alameen, the developer, began as a writer and filmmaker. A collaborative game project fell through in 2020, but the core story lingered. Driven by his vision, Alameen independently learned 3D modeling and Unreal Engine, bringing My Father Lied to life. Even the title itself was a collaborative effort with his wife.

Unraveling the Mystery

My Father Lied plunges players into a gripping mystery steeped in ancient Mesopotamian myths. Players step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman grappling with a twenty-year-old question: What happened to her father? The answer, as the story unfolds, is far from straightforward.

Blending 7000 years of Mesopotamian culture with a modern narrative, My Father Lied offers a unique experience. The gameplay features simple point-and-click mechanics, stunning 2D visuals, and immersive 360-degree images.
