Today marks Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom is joining in the celebration with a unique twist on its Party Walk event. This time, instead of focusing on your steps, you'll be contributing to the cause by planting flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality, location-based game, you won't want to miss out on this special event.
When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?
The special Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk in Pikmin Bloom is happening from April 22nd to April 30th. During this period, you won't be tracking your steps; instead, you'll be counting the number of flowers you plant. Every single bloom you plant will contribute to the global total.
This event aligns perfectly with the spirit of Earth Day, encouraging more greenery and purposeful action. Pikmin Bloom is making the effort fun by offering rewards based on the collective number of flowers planted.
Depending on the total number of flowers planted by the community during the event, players can unlock special weather-themed Decor Pikmin through Huge Seedlings. Here's what you can achieve:
- If the total reaches 500 million flowers, everyone who participates will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin.
- Hit 1 billion flowers, and you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin.
- Should the community push the total to 1.5 billion flowers, a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, exclusive to White Pikmin, will be available.
But Keep This in Mind
To ensure your flowers count towards the total, you must join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Make sure you've updated to app version 117 and signed up correctly. If you haven't yet, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
To help you with your flower-planting mission, everyone participating will receive a promo code. Remember, all types of flowers contribute to the goal, so feel free to plant any variety. Just get out there and start blooming!
