Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 is a rollercoaster. While Safe Haven initially offers a sense of security, this is short-lived. Despite defeating Yarnaby and the Doctor, our heroes face new challenges.

The Prototype learns of Poppy's explosive plan and moves the explosives to destroy Safe Haven. This catastrophe devastates Doey, turning him aggressive. After defeating him, we encounter the hiding Poppy and Kissy Missy.

Here's the twist: Ollie, our supposed ally, is revealed to be The Prototype. This villain can change his voice and impersonate others, deceiving Poppy into believing he's Ollie.

While Poppy portrays The Prototype as purely evil, their history is more complex. A VHS tape found during the Doey chase scene shows Poppy crying after a moment of joy, revealing The Prototype convinced her they could leave the factory – a promise broken.

The Prototype argues escape is impossible; they've become monsters, unacceptable to humans. Despite her hatred of the factory, Poppy understands and agrees to its destruction to prevent more victims.

However, The Prototype anticipates her plan. Using his Ollie disguise, he thwarts Poppy's efforts, threatening to imprison her. His motives for keeping Poppy captive remain unclear, but the threat forces her flight.

What's the Deal With the Laboratory in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 4?

Poppy's departure prompts The Prototype to attack the player's hideout. Though Kissy Missy attacks, her injured arm breaks, leaving us vulnerable, but alive. We find ourselves in a lab containing a poppy garden used for experiments.

This area likely represents the final region in the Poppy Playtime series. Poppy previously indicated this is where The Prototype hides and keeps orphaned children. The final confrontation will likely involve saving these children before destroying the factory. Navigating the lab's security will be crucial.

The player also faces Huggy Wuggy, seemingly intent on devouring us. His injuries suggest he's the Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime Chapter 1, possibly even bandaged by someone. These wounds, however, won't deter his attack.

This summarizes the ending of Poppy Playtime Chapter 4. We are approaching the climax, requiring the final boss's defeat before escaping this nightmarish factory.
