These characters would take center stage, allowing for unique and unexpected uses of their abilities and personalities.

This potential movie is distinct from another X-Men project being developed by Hunger Games writer Michael Lesslie. Reynolds is known for refining his ideas independently before presenting them to Marvel, a process that mirrors his approach to what eventually became Deadpool & Wolverine, initially conceived as a low-budget road trip film.
