For a limited time, Best Buy is offering an unbeatable deal on the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless gaming headset, compatible with PC, PS4, and PlayStation 5. You can grab this top-tier headset for just $139.99, which is a massive 50% off its original $280 list price. This is even $50 less than SteelSeries' Easter Sale price of $189.99. The Arctis Pro was SteelSeries' flagship model before the Arctis Nova Pro came along, and it's one of only two models featuring swappable batteries.

The Arctis Pro was the pinnacle of SteelSeries' gaming headsets until the Arctis Nova Pro took over. It comes packed with features you won't find in many other headsets, such as a standalone base station with a volume knob and OLED display, the ability to pair simultaneously via Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi, and the standout feature: a hot-swappable battery system. This means uninterrupted wireless gameplay as you can swap batteries without downtime. SteelSeries includes two batteries: one for use in the headset and another charging in the base station.

The build quality of the Arctis Pro is exceptional. It boasts a headband made from a lightweight steel and aluminum alloy, and a suspension headstrap designed for comfort during long gaming sessions. The ear cushions use AirWeave performance fabric, similar to that on the Arctis Nova Pro. The ClearCast boom microphone can be retracted when not in use. The audio quality is top-notch, thanks to premium 40mm speaker drivers with high-density neodymium magnets, capable of reproducing high-resolution audio up to 40,000Hz.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Review by Matt Elliot

"The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless boasts premium build quality, a comfortable design, and outstanding sound. Plus, the clever battery-swapping design means you’ll never be without power. As good as its sound is, however, I give the performance edge to the Arctis Pro + GameDAC. Sure, it’s wired, but it’s still very comfortable and versatile and $70 cheaper. Or you can save a bundle and opt for the wireless Arctis 7 for less than half the price."

The Arctis Pro was succeeded by the Arctis Nova Pro in 2022. The best current price for a new pair of Nova Pros is $270 on Amazon. While the Nova Pro is an excellent headset with upgrades like active noise cancellation and USB Type-C charging, it's certainly not worth nearly double the cost of the Arctis Pro.

The moment I launched the Tempest Rising demo, a wave of nostalgia washed over me. The opening cinematic, with its delightfully cheesy dialogue from bulky armored soldiers and a reedy scientist, set the perfect tone.
